Working with my black MacBook always made me a bit jealous of these cool guys, hacking in their Thinkpad on the train, using MobileConnect Cards – now I’ve just bought the Vodafone EasyBox, and it’s a real cool thing, to be able to be online everywhere. The setup was a breeze (in contrast to my colleagues Samsung Notebook), and the connection is stable even at 300 Km/H between Cologne and Frankfurt.
Update 1: Oh, and what I find really cool is, that pictures are dynamically scrambled down in size – this is absolut ok, because it reduces the overall file size.
Update 2: No, though I was a consultant to Vodafone, and they are our customers, this is no hidden advertising 😉

A quite useful tool for finding european patents is the german website of the „Deutsches Patent- und Markenamt“. One can search through their whole catalogue regarding patens, brands and registered designs. We‚ve used this tool excessively the last weeks ‚cause we’re coming up with some really interesting patents regarding our new technology.
From 6 to 18 I played violoncello in orchestres, duos, trios and other combos. I went to the local music school and learned a lot about discipline from my back then quite old music teacher 😉 When I left home, I left my cello there, but some weeks ago, when I visited my parents, I thought it might be fun to take my cello with me. Unfortunately I forgot all my scores there, so when I then yesterday evening was looking on the net for some online sources, I came accross rowy.net, who has some (il)legal stuff online – quite nice: some of them with the according midi or mp3 file, so that you get an orientation on how it could sound like 😉
Being a bit addicted to flickr in the last weeks, I’ve come up to search for photography books on amazon, in order to find a quick ’n dirty helper on learning more about formats, techniques etc. Now I’ve come across
