I’ve exported my xing data to VCF, and I suddenly gained all information from my contacts: not only the ones they’ve shared with me. Did anyone experience the same?

Will be a feature in Leopard, but works as well with tiger: virtual desktops. Just tried you control: desktops . Which is free for a limited time and then is about 30 bucks. Works great!
UPDATE:Using virtual desktops now since some days, and it has come to a really handy feature: I really think of buying this piece of software although I’m going to get leopard as soon as it comes to the stores.

Hay anyone yet understood the power of chat robots? I’m a bit fascinated about the easy way how to get information. They would be a perfect thing for customer care, giving information, leading to the right customer service etc. Is there an implentation for skype as well? here is for AIM and AOL.
By the end of 2006, when Open BC (XING) went public, I predicted their stock price to raise up to 50 € by the midth of 2007. As for today they are at 45 € 😉
For some projects we need to test port switching and behaviour of clients behind company firewalls. For that we needed a solution to simulate different firewall settings and log, how traffic goes through, what is blocked, filters etc. For that purpose we found Flying Buttress quite handy: it’s easy to handle and serves some extended functionality.
MacFuse is a cool app for OSX: one can mount drives to your finder via ssh or ftp. the best is the GUI MacFusion. (via kazam.de)
